Called out to remove, refurbish and service.
Old lock now as good as new, paint stripped back to metal and a new coat of paint and the original brass polished and new set of handles added.

Fresh install of locks
New fresh install of lock case, thumbturn cylinder and handles for a hotel this morning, perfect for locking rooms where in an event of an emergency you can unlock and exit quickly without the need of keys.

Late night callout to this High security lock in Milford Haven, it may look like a Yale but this was a higher security lock that gave up a bit of a fight, wasnt too long and was in. This saved the customer anything up to £100 for a new like for like cylinder not to mention a 6 week waiting time for it to be shipped from Austria.

Called out by a holiday home owner in Saundersfoot, gate lock not working and guests checking in within the hour!
Hughes Locks was there within 5 minutes, replaced the old lock with the British standard lock and was gone before the guests arrived

Called out to a commercial metal door this morning, locking mechanism had failed and the door was stuck in the locked position and the handle had broken off.
Managed to free the mechanism without damage to the door and replaced the faulty part and broken handle.

Door re-alignment
Customer today had issues with locking their door.
Quick inspection found that the fault was the hinges were loose and badly out of alignment.
Door now working like new.
Finding the fault early saved the gentleman a lot of money because if you leave it too late and you’re having trouble lifting the handle locking the door it will cause strain on the multipoint locking system and it will eventually fail completely.

Found that one of the doors was catching on the frame, re-aligned door so it’s now working perfectly.
